FIR Designer M : System Export
This view shows summarises the complete loudspeaker system preset and provides export options.
Summary Table
Input out output channel information, for the DSP or speaker processor, is summarised here.
Note: Since each channel can have a different length FIR filter and with a potentially different FIR filter delay, the FIR Alignment Delay is an additional delay calculated to maintain time alignment between the time=0 locations of all FIR filters across all channels. The FIR Alignment Delay is added to the GPD Tab Delay, resulting in the Total Processor Delay. The Total Processor Delay is the delay value to be entered into the DSP or speaker processor.
Export
Format | Select the FIR filter output format for import into the speaker processor. See also FIR Capable Products. |
Save FIR’s | This button brings up a file save dialog and prompts for a base filename for all FIR filters. The channel number is appended to the base filename. |
Save FIR’s + Summary | This button brings up a file save dialog and prompts for a base filename for all FIR filters. The channel number is appended to the base filename for each FIR filter file. A summary text file (with the same filename) and containing all other processor related information is also saved. |
DTP
Pressing any of the logo buttons brings up the relevant Direct-To-Processor dialog.
System Response
This plot shows the final filtered loudspeaker magnitude and phases responses for all channels, and for the combined system. The filtering includes Gain/PolarityDelay as well as all IIR and window FIR filters.
