Loading Custom Fohhn EQ
into Fohhn Loudspeakers
The Fohhn Audio Soft software is designed specifically to control all Fohhn products.
This page describes how to use Fohhn Audio Soft to load custom EQ settings (IIR filters) from FIR Designer M and FIR Designer for deployment into Fohhn audio devices.
FIR Designer M and FIR Designer have a built-in Fohhn mode to emulate filter behavior in Fohhn amplifiers & processors.
FIR Designer / FIR Designer M
In the IIR Filters tab, select the Fohhn mode and set up the EQ filters as desired.
Fohhn Audio Soft
Download Fohhn Audio Soft & run the software.
Select a device, then select either Input Channels or Output Channels.
Copy settings from FIR Designer into the sections on the right hand side:
– GPD tab gain into Volume
– GPD tab delay into Delay
– IIR Filters tab low-pass and high-pass filter settings into Xover
– IIR Filters tab parametric filter settings into Equalizer
